The Irreversible Consequences of Slipping on a Banana Peel
Alexandrina, a naturalized Canadian, must urgently fly to Romania to see her mother, Maria, recently diagnosed with dementia. Despite her strong desire to help her family, Alexandrina will only be able to stay in her childhood home for seven short days. Far from being just a battle for Maria's health, her return will become, against all odds, a confrontation with the deeper questions that rack her mind.
